Nerds Attack! & Nossa Vingança - Split CD
This split brings together two bands from São Paulo, Brazil, that are part of the punk/hc/straightedge scene. Nerds Attack!, formed in June 2006 comes with its fastcore influenced by Limp Wrist,  Scholastic Deth, Lamico di Martucci, Jellyroll Rockheads and Flash Gordon. With lyrics that cover themes like homophobia, religion and war and DIY ethics, Nerds Attack! currently (as it was in the beginning) has Foca (vocals), Fabiano (guitars), Barreto (bass) and Xopô (drums) in its line-up. Nossa Vingança, with its agressive fastcore and two vocalists has influences like Vitamin X, Spazz and Betercore. Formed around 2005, the band's lyrics talk about the suburbs in which they live, the alienation brought by tv and each person's everyday living. Their current line-up is comprised by Jacko and David (vocals), Clayton (guitars), Marcão (bass) and Marcelo (drums).

Ruina – Ruina CD
Doom + ambient + punk. Moodiness, heaviness and sadness: that's what you'll find on this debut's 12 tracks. They are intense and obscure songs, a mix of metallic crust and depressive post-punk. Think Joy Division meets Tragedy with a recording that's on the likes of Neurosis. Recorded in 2006 by Bernardo Pacheco, the same producer behind “Homem Inimigo do Homem”, by Ratos de Porão. The CD will be available soon, through a deal between Karasu Killer Records (Japan) and Cospe Fogo Gravações (Brazil). (click here and read a review in Japanese)
