(KARASU016) Discarga- Música Pra Guerra CD Here they come again, the heroes of the “play fast or die”. This new torpedo from the power trio has eighteen tracks of pure disgraceful punk hardcore. Vocals that are always unique, insane drumming, awesome lyrics and fast riffs that are also “catchy”. On this third album they absolutely outdo themselves proving to be one of the greatest bands of Brazilian hardcore of all times. In the end, all songs from Discarga’s split with H-Zero comprised in one track. Discarga: www.myspace.com/discarga |

(KARASU015) Alarme - Starving Wolves and Death Machine Inc CD Debut album from this excellent band which is a surprising revelation in Brazilian hardcore. After the first EP, released in the USA, they recorded this full-length, which conveys all the energy and power of the band. Influenced by bands like WHN?, Life’s Halt and also older stuff like Heresy, but there’s always that Brazilian band feel, that wrath that can only be found in South American bands. Fourteen punches! (KARASU014) Mukeka di Rato/Hero Dishonest - Burzum Marley Split CD Previously released in 7” vinyl, this split has finally arrived as a CD. On the Brazilian side, the wackos from Mukeka Di Rato show that they’re more pessimistic, but not without the birth of another classic: the song “Burzum Marley”, which fuses black metal and reggae combined with genius lyrics. On the Finnish side, called “I And I Walked The Line”, Hero Dishonest shows their raw punk/hardcore side, with a version of Joy Division’s “Warsaw”. (KARASU013) Os Estudantes - Album! CD This is one fucking cool record. Sounds like a blend of old US punk with bits of Brazilian punk mixed in there. Snotty vocal delivery and catchy songwriting make this a great listen. Nice stark silk-screened cover with minimal graphics adds to the whole package here. Now, onto the bad stuff. This really good record with cool art (and did I mention that it is on yellow vinil?) hás a major flaw. There are only 100 fucking copies in existence – now isn´t that cute? Good luck getting a hold of this. By Martin Sorrondeguy, Maximum Rock N Roll #294/Nov.2007 Estudantes: www.myspace.com/osestudantes |

(KARASU012) Muzzarelas – Beergod CD These veterans in the Brazilian punk rock scene (active since 1991) have already shared the stage with major international acts during their Brazilian tours - like Fugazi, Agnostic Front, GBH, MC5, Sick Of It All, Marky Ramone and the Vibrators. But all this wouldn’t be possible without a quality sound, which is what they bring on Beergod, their sixth album. Throughout its 19 tracks, the five guys from Campinas/SP show the balance between the varied influences they bring, which go from punk rock, metal and trash culture to beer and bubblegum. If you need proof, just listen to "All Humans Are Gonna Die Tonite", "Desgraçado", "Speed Metal Girl", "V.C.N.S.C.", "Tell Me It's Ok", "Death To False Posers" and "Pig Master". Think about something that is between the Ramones, AC/DC and Motörhead, but with a strong dose of irony, fun and beer (to which they dedicate not only the title track, but also "Let it Beer", "Want Beer Now" and "The Last Beer Is The Best"). The path the guys from Muzzarelas roam is somewhere, something along these lines. Muzzarelas: www.myspace.com/osmuzzarelas |

(KARASU011) D.E.R. - Quando a Esperança Desaba CD Finally the long awaited debut from these paulistanos, who after the split with the curitibanos from Morte Asceta and many memorable shows here in the capital of São Paulo have established themselves as one of the most aggressive and crass bands in the planet. Pure oldschool grindcore punk. Think Assück, Cripple Bastards, early Napalm Death and D.R.I. with fucked up lyrics being puked in screams. 16 Tracks, Old School Grindcore! + Multimedia Track. Through a deal between Karasu Killer (Japan), Cospe Fogo and Pecúlio Discos (Brazil). D.E.R: www.myspace.com/derpunk |

(KARASU010) HellSakura / Kamisori Split CD 2008 celebrates one hundred years of Japanese immigration in Brazil, and the celebration has gone underground. The Brazilians in Hellsakura and the Japanese in Kamisori brings down the geographical distance between the two countries, through punk rock. Be it in Portuguese or in English, Hellsakura instigate with their punk-tinted rock’n’roll and lyrics far from the commonplace, which are boosted by the sassy vocals of Cherry, like in "Janela Suja", "Ponta Cabeça", "3x Não" and "Meu Nick Não Pára". Besides the Ramones (to whom they pay tribute in “Gabbaroll”) the trio is influenced by Motörhead, Helmet and L7. On the eastern side of the split, Hitoshi’s slapbass leads Kamisori’s devastating psychobilly. Without crossing the two-minute line, the tracks are full of vitality, like “Kamisori Boy, Kamisori Girl” and “Kamisori Life”. (KARASU008) F.Y.P - Toilet Kids Bread CD A modern-day punk rock masterpiece, F.Y.P's Toilet Kids Bread, released in 1996, is the work of three immature pseudo-geeks from Torrance, CA. Screaming in a high-pitched, nasal voice which sounds like a clown being tortured, singer/guitarist/mastermind Todd Congelliere wrote some truly inspired punk anthems on this feisty, raging classic. read the whole rewiew at AMG. (KARASU007) Ação Direta - Resistirei - 1987/1992 - Os Primeiros Anos CD This CD gathers material from the band's first years. | (KARASU005) Halé - Lixo Extraordinário CD When you talk about crappy hardcore, it's impossible not to think of Halé. Those who don't know the band, but like sincere and fast hardcore, don't know what sincere and fast hardcore is. Formed years ago in Rio de Janeiro the band exhales sincerity through a hardcore extracted from the pores, speed and lyrics talking about the everyday living of the survivors from the civil war which is the everyday living of the Carioca. All that with some added cleverness and good humor, so characteristic of those people. "Lixo Extraordinário" [Extraordinary Trash] comes out via Karasu Killer, Ah Danada, Tamborete, Abunai Records and U&R Records. Soon we'll be surrounded by "Extraordinary Trash". (KARASU004) *out of stock* Little Quail and the Mad Birds – Demo Tapes CD In the nineties, this trio from Brasilia (Brazil) managed the inconceivable of entering mainstream media without any commercial appeal. The band played a laidback rock'n'roll, coming from many influences - from rockabilly to punk rock, including even blues. This CD came to rescue the initial era, that is, the demo tapes. Besides 14 songs, there's multimedia content with eight videos (including a live TV appearance at Carioca underground venue Circo Voador). Nowadays, guitarrist/vocalist Gabriel is fronting Autoramas, who have played in Japan with Guitar Wolf, having been to Europe, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile, and drummer Bacalhau played with The Mission in the two times they went to Brazil, and now plays in Ultraje a Rigor - one of the most important names of Brazilian rock'n'roll. Karasu Killer Records (Japan) and Läjä (Brazil). |

(KARASU003) *out of stock* Los Canos – Cada Dia Mais Limpo e Romântico CD The city of Salvador (Bahia) shows that besides Carnival and their traditional rhythms, there's good rock'n'roll. The flavor is strengthened by the crappy bubblegum that comes out the speakers and the romantic themes chosen by the band to illustrate the lyrics. That's what shows along the 14 tracks of this CD, which is the first official release from Los Canos. Among them you'll find "Pedacin", an interpretation of the classic Os Pedrero song. If you like old Green Day, FYP and something from the Queers you might like Los Canos... or not!! You'll only know it if you listen to it! Karasu Killer Records (Japan) and Läjä (Brazil).
