V/A 'GRITO SUBURBANO' LP (1982)
The first stone of Brazilian Punk. More than essential material by Olho Seco, Cólera and Inocentes in their primary incarnations. This is the album that made a whole impact around Brazil and put the country in the map of worldwide hardcore punk.

LIXOMANIA 'VIOLENCIA E SOBREVIVENCIA' 7''EP (1983)
These guys were a punk rock lost pearl between late 70's punk rock and the first signs of emerging hardcore days. Amazing sound by one of the coolest bands from that era. The first and real Brazilian Killed by Death band.
INOCENTES 'MISERIA E FOME' LP (1983)
Planned to be a full lenght LP but almost 100% censored due 80's military censorship. This reissue LP version has the whole recording session: fast, furious, political and in your face.
OLHO SECO 'BOTAS, FUZIS E CAPACETES' 7''EP (1983)
Many people consider Olho Seco as the best hardcore band from Brazil in the early 80's. Agreeing or not, this EP has by far the coolest sound quality combining furious anti war, anti religion, anti world and anti you too rage.
V/A SUB (1983)
This compilation is probably the best one ever made in Brazil. With better production than Grito Suburbano, SUB expose a new generation of awesome bands like Ratos de Porão, Psykoze and Fogo Cruzado along with previous known Cólera.
RATOS DE PORÃO 'CRUCIFICADOS PELO SISTEMA' LP (1984)
The maximum statement of 80's brazilian punk. Imagine a bunch of poor brazilian teenagers playing the fastest hardcore beats and full hate pointed into cops, poverty, war, religion, corruption, chaos, repression and death.
COLERA 'TENTE MUDAR O AMANHA' LP (1985)
Positive and peace punk messengers after Grito Suburbano and SUB days. Self produced, this album establish them as one of the main groups in Brazil. Great lyrics and music but with a different political and personal approach.
V/A ATAQUE SONORO LP (1985)
Another very important compilation. Ataque Sonoro showed the largest amount of new bands from that time and its the first appearance on vinyl of great bands like Lobotomia, Armagedom, Grinders, Expermogramix, and many others.
COLERA 'PELA PAZ EM TODO MUNDO' LP (1986)
This is album made Cólera as known as they could ever imagined. Almost 25,000 copies sold only in Brazil. Their peaceful and smart messages combines with the coolest tracks they ever did.
ARMAGEDOM 'SILENCIO FUNEBRE' LP (1986)
Armagedom album is a classic that took a long time to be recognized. Their lyrics and chaotic atmosphere represent a serious look into Brazil's poverty and life condition. One of the first crustcore albums ever released in Brazil.
LOBOTOMIA 'S/T' LP (1986)
Their debut album is an awesome mix of Scandinavian hardcore but with dark metal influences, that will only get seem many years later. Lobotomia was musically brilliant and very agressive band and this album easily proves it.
RESTOS DE NADA 'S/T' LP (1987)
Released in 1987 after a reunion studio session, this album has their 1978-79 unreleased material and it rips. Restos de Nada were the punk pioneers in Brazil and probably one of the first hardcore bands in the world.
V/A 'CONTRA ATAQUE' LP (1987)
This compilation showed a lot of bands of late 80's punk like Republika, Pupilas Dilatadas, Skarnio, Olho Seco, and others. Produced by Clemente (Inocentes), this is an awesome document of that time.
GRINDERS 'S/T' LP (1987)
Grinders were the band of skaters in Brazil. This album came up in 1987, a high time of skateboarding in Brazil, and it was a 24-hour soundtrack for many skaters, punk rockers and thrashers.
RATOS DE PORAO 'BRASIL' LP (1989)
Miles away from the early times, Ratos de Porão releases the album which defined the crossover style in Brazil. A very inspired record, which shows their whole connection with Sepultura and the international crossover hardcore influence.
PSYCHIC POSSESSOR 'NOS SOMOS A AMERICA DO SUL' LP (1989)
Highly influenced by the fastest groups like Heresy, Ripcord, S.O.B, and US hardcore as well, this amazing LP finishes the 80's era to open the way for the 90's in Brazil. An underated and classic album that deserves more attention.
