The new project led by Cherry, from Okotô, Hellsakura marks the return of the instrumentalist to her position as a guitarist and singer, through a rock’n’roll made from its purest essence, straight and to the point. Influenced by heavyweights like Motorhead, L7 and the Ramones, Hellsakura comes to show the audience what they’re here for and what they can do, through a unique sonority. Also in the band are bass player Napalmer and drummer Bart (formerly in Stoosh), wrapping up this potent power trio, that plays “simple and lethal rock”. In November they’ll release “+ Café + Shoyu”, in a partnership with Karasu Killer, so keep your eyes open!
